Monthly psychodrama group starting in Belfast

A new monthly psychodrama group exploring action methods is starting in Belfast in January 2010.

The monthly psychodrama group is for those who would like to experience the spontaneity and creativity of action methods. It offers a safe space to explore yourself, relationships and aspects of your life within a group setting, using action as well as words. This group is suitable for anyone with a therapy, training or professional focus requiring CPD, as well as those interested in personal growth. Participants are required to commit to the group for 10 Saturdays (70 CPD hours). Next group starting January 2010.

Contact Youth are seeking to recruit an Independent Locum Counsellors and Family/Systemic Therapist.

Applications are welcomed from suitably qualified Counsellors with at least three years post qualifying clinically supervised experience in a formal setting and Family/Systemic Therapists with at least three years Health Service clinical experience.

BACP rejects HPC proposals

The British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) has responded to the Professional Liaison Group’s (PLG) draft consultation, stating that it does not support the specific proposals to differentiate within the standards of proficiency and threshold entry levels to the register.
