A one-day workshop hosted by Prof. Dave Mearns, will be held at Stranmillis College, Belfast on Thursday 29th April 2010. Daves says:

During the day I will introduce the notion of working therapeutically at relational depth, exploring how that is experienced by clients and how that experience contrasts with much of what they are used to in mental health care. Generally, clients experience this way of working as profoundly valuing of their humanity and as creating a therapeutic space that affords such a degree of security that they find themselves able to contact and express their most fundamental concerns – material that perhaps had never been reached by earlier therapeutic experiences.
