1 Full Time Assistant Team Leader/School Counsellor (Independent Counselling Service for Schools)

Salary £26,483 – £29,464

This role will require you to provide assistance and support to the ICSS Team Leader in the co-ordination of the project within the relevant area of delivery.  You will also be required to manage a caseload of one to one counselling.

It is essential that applicants have:

• Professional qualification in counselling or psychotherapy (minimum Advanced Diploma or equivalent)
• Accredited (or working towards accreditation) with BACP,UKCP, IACP, BAT or AFT
• 2 years post-qualification supervised clinical practice (accumulating to at least 200 hours post qualifying supervised practice)
• Proven organisational ability and ability to co-ordinate diverse activities and tasks
• Experience of working with groups of young people in a counselling environment
• Experience with administrative systems including the use of an ICT package
