Job Vacancy: Youth Counsellor (Greater Shankill Partnership)

The Integrated Services for Children and Young People (ISCYP) Programme seeks to improve the life chances of children and young people. The programme has various elements, and recognizes  the importance of therapeutic work with young people.

Greater Shankill Partnership now wishes to recruit a Youth Counsellor to help support the ISCYP Youth Development Work Programme (WP2).

This post will be based in FASA — Forum for Action on Substance Abuse and Suicide Awareness

Youth Counsellor NJC Pt 28 – £23,708

To work according to the BACP/IACP Guidelines to provide counselling for young people throughout the Greater Shankill area on a one to one basis, working with a variety of complex issues. The counsellor will also be required to evaluate and monitor their practice in order to demonstrate in impact of counselling sessions. (Ref GSOO7A)
