MAP exists to provide counselling services for men experiencing domestic abuse. MAP accepts applications for volunteer counsellors who have an Advanced Diploma in Counselling, or DipHE (level 5), or are working towards this and in the second year of study. The Men’s Advisory Project (MAP) is a charity offering counselling for males experiencing domestic violence and abuse or relationship breakdown.
MAP is currently seeking adult male victims of domestic violence and abuse across Northern Ireland, to participate in confidential case study interviews to examine the experience and needs of this invisible population, with the aim of recommending improvements in service provision for these men.
