
The Art Therapy Summer School 2012 takes place at NICVA Building in Belfast between 23rd – 27th July 2012.
The programme includes a week-long series of presentations and workshops andl is ideal for all those interested in exploring the therapeutic application of art with children and adults. This unique forum is open to anyone wishing to gain, or extend their awareness of the nature of Art Therapy / Art Psychotherapy.
Between September 2012 and March 2013 BACP are planning to hold a second series of Professional Development Days. The days have been designed to deliver valuable CPD opportunities with clearly defined learning outcomes that will develop practitioner skills in the specified areas. BACP aim for the days to be interactive and for every delegate to get maximum individual benefit from attending. To achieve this, expert tutors have been selected to deliver each day and numbers at each event are limited to a maximum of 25.

Zest for Life Counselling Services are running a two-day workshop called “Effective Strategies for Working with Childhood Sexual Abuse”.

Increasingly, society is ready to acknowledge that many adults in our midst have been damaged by sexual abuse. Despite this, we do not always understand what sexual abuse is, or know how we can best help those who have been so deeply hurt.

Zest for Life are delighted to be hosting a Postgraduate Certificate in Counselling Supervision course from their Banbridge centre. The course will be delivered by KRCS (a training provider from England) who is engaged in a collaborative partnership with the University of Gloucestershire.

Zest for Life Counselling Services will be holding a workshop called Practical Skills for Anxiety Management on Friday 8th April 2011 at the Belmont Hotel in Banbridge. The programme includes presenting symptoms and treatment plans for Agoraphobia, Panic Disorder, Panic Attack, Specific Phobia and Social Phobia, plus an overview of Generalised Anxiety Disorder, PTSD and OCD.
