SELF NI is pleased to be able to offer a one day workshop on Alcohol and Drugs Awareness on Saturday 15th May at Jury’s Hotel, Fisherwick Place, Great Victoria Street, Belfast.

Detailed information will be provided on key drugs and alcohol issues.  An interactive workshop we will discuss many of the drugs used today including the long and short term effects and the implications of using these drugs for the individual, family and friends and the implications for using or selling these drugs and the law.

The workshop is open to everyone with an interest in Substance Misuse but will be of particular interest for those who have no previous experience in working with substance misuse but would find it of benefit when working with clients who present with associated alcohol or drug issues.

Demand for this workshop has been high, therefore  early registration is recommended to secure a place.

The cost for this one day workshop is £75 payable by 1st May; cheques should be made payable to SELF NI.

Tea and coffee will be provided morning and afternoon however, participants can avail of lunch at the hotel or there a number of cafes, bars & restaurants in the immediate area.
