NEXUS are holding a series of one-day workshops on Friday 21 May, Friday 28 May, and Friday 18 June respectively.

This workshop is for practising counsellors and student counsellors who have an interest in working in this area of therapeutic provision. The participants will gain a wider knowledge of the impact of childhood sexual abuse on the child and how this can manifest in later adulthood with debilitating and often crippling effect.

NEXUS has 25 years of experience providing therapeutic intervention to those suffering as a result of recent or historic sexual violence. The workshop will be validated and certificated by NEXUS.

The workshop is aimed at those who would like to work in this area but have limited experience, to those who would like to know more of the subject in order to help ascertain if it is an area they could work in and those who wish to update their skills and add a further competency to their professional development.
